lesson 3-11: A blues rhythm and lead
This is a solo blues piece. You need to be able to play the 12-bar blues in A first. Checkout 12 bar blues in A. You also need to be familiar with the A minor pentatonic scale and the four blues licks . Use the rest at the end of each bar of rhythm playing to move to the scale position and the rest after each lick to move back. Be sure to play slowly and tap your foot four times per bar.
When you can play this piece, try creating some of your own licks, using the A minor pentatonic scale. Be sure to incorporate some of the lead techniques learnt so far,
