guitar scales 01: first scales

These are scales for the total beginner.

This lesson looks at the C major, A natural minor, E blues and G major pentatonic scales. All over 1 octave in the open position.

Try to learn the note names, not just the 'shapes'. There also some ideas on how to start using these scales to create melodies.
